Flying Boulders of Death in the land of Paisley

The screen shot might not look much different from the last time, but now the boulder flies around the screen at random. Not only that - if it goes off one side of the screen, it will appear on the other side. Pretty amazing stuff eh.

Now all I have to do is get multiple boulders flying, get a land object going (something for it to hit), get lasers blasting, get a scoring system going.....and lots more. Only 3 days left. It's lucky I don't have a lady friend at the minute :-)

You can now click on the screenshot below to see it in action. Don't let it run for too long as it will crash and burn. It is a work in progress.

If you would like to check out the basics of game design, this is a fun little edu-thing. Each lesson goes through a particular game, explaining the thoughts that going into making them and you get to play them as well.
